I made this today- with a whole egg tempered perfectly.

Here is where the picture and recipe were found. Thanks to The Kitchn.

I used Malt O Meal instead, and my thoughts on it are: a subtle substance = happiness.

As the recipe's instructions indicate they use only the yoke, but truthfully the white is where the protein is so I don't think I could justify NOT putting the white in.

I made it again yesterday, tempering the whole egg and it turned out great.

I think it might be put on my top 20 fall recipes for breakfast.

Also, now that I have it down I've been thinking about some variations.
